Casino and DJs Entertainment hosting Kohls 50th Year Anniversary

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Kohl’s department store motto is “Expect Great Things” and yes as of March 2012 Kohl’s announced the grand opening of eight “8” new stores, bringing approximately 1,000 new jobs nationwide. The company now operates 1,134 stores in 49 states.

Kevin Mansell, Kohl’s chairman, president and chief executive officer said “As we celebrate our 50^th anniversary, we are pleased to be in a position to create approximately 1,000 jobs as Kohl’s continues to focus on growing market share in a challenging economy,” said Kevin Mansell, Kohl’s chairman, president and chief executive officer. “We continue to bring customers innovative new stores where they can enjoy quality national and exclusive brands at exceptional values. This spring we launched the exclusive Rock & Republic collection available at all stores and Kohls.com. To keep the customer experience fresh and exciting, we are investing in our existing store base by adding innovative features and remodeling approximately 50 stores this year.”

The company celebrates the grand opening of eight new stores in seven states, including Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York,North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Of the eight new locations, seven are small format stores with approximately 64,000 square feet or less of retail space, providinggreater real estate flexibility. Kohl’s also continues to invest in its existing store base, adding innovative features and remodeling approximately 50 stores this year. Over the last six years, more than 60 percent of Kohl’s store base has been remodeled with innovation features or newly built.

As for the well deserved festivities the Kohl’s T4 Seasonal meeting was held in the Renaissance in Newark NJ where Kohl’s personal had a well planned and engaging confrence, followed by dinner entertainment and loads of fun.

Our Led Photobooth was a truly the talk of the night but the entertainment didn’t stop there our premiere DJ Nikki K was personally requested to host the entertainment inthe casino room where craps tables , black jack table , roulette, Slot machines, texas holdem , three card poker , carribean stud, let it ride, and the money wheel; was all part of the enhancements and excitement.

I had the opportunity to speak with Nikki K after the event, ” What an amazing accomplishment that Kohl’s has successfully built such an empire that many people flock to all year round, I honestly do not know anyone that hasn’t visited kohl’s and if they haven’t they are missing out! It was such an honor to meet so many smiling faces and to be part of the celebration. To me Kohl’s represents something that I always believe in; quality brands, value and convenience and to invite so many Kohl’s employees approximately “375” for a dinner meeting and celebration spoke proudly of how kohl’s respects the employees and a fruitful future they have to look forward too.
